I'm in NW Harris County (Cy-Fair.) With little or no tropo enhancement, KNTE usually comes in at a listenable level, with a few dropouts when driving around. KXGJ is usually a lot weaker--it's there, but really not listenable.
When the tropo is rolling in, both stations can have very solid signals here. There are times, however, when there is no trace of KXGJ, and I hear either KAYD or KSAM-FM instead.
If KJOJ-FM 103.3 ever gets its CP constructed, I wouldn't be surprised for 96.9 and 103.3 to swap formats as it would give the Nortena format greater coverage on FM.
