How well is the new Coldplay song doing on your station?

I would like to know how well is Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" is doing on your hot AC station. From the hot AC charts I assume it's doing very well. I admit, I'm not much of a Coldplay fan and this is one of the few songs I like. It has potential to get up to #4 or even #3 on the chart. They should do a Christmas version of that song with different lyrics - that'd really be interesting.

This one is testing fairly well here. "Viva" is one of those songs that will keep the music "purists" interested in your station...you know, the people who are always talking about how your Hot AC playlist is stale and not up-to-date...anyway, it's doing pretty good. B rotation here.

...hope I'm not the only one who gets playlist comments like that! :p

It's not getting off the wall requests, and I'm kind of surprised how quickly it climbed the charts.

I'll spin it for a while though probably.

At an AAA in a market with no hot AC, it's doing quite well. Nearest Hot AC is pretty much ignoring it outside of AT40, which I think is more indicative of their general programming randomness than the appeal of the song in the region.
