How well would CHR do in Martinsville

Now im not suggesting that WCBK flip and lose their older demos and community support, but what if one of our smaller signals like 94.1 or 95.1-NASHVILLE flipped to Chr,,,, I know all the kids and young adults like CHR here, but would it be a viable COM format??? Does WNOU, and WBWB both get decent ratings here considering their poor to moderate signals.. I know when WNOU was on 93.1 it had ratings here.

What if WTTS where to flip back to CHR with the Former Power 92 name,, with the statewide signal covering Martinsville just as well as WCBK, or dang near as close,, plus WTTS covers Indy, Bloomington, Martinsville, Bedford, Columbus,,, yet they dont take advantage of that... Do they still pretend to be in Indy????

AAA is a Niche bottom feeder format, you would think they would go CHR or Active Rock?????

AAA is a profitable format for Sarkes Tarzian. Otherwise they wouldn't still be doing it after 15 years. I don't see how they do in the Bloomington ratings, but a large portion of their advertising is from IU. Seems they're targeting IU students. I could see AAA being a format college students would like.

WBWB doesn't cover Martinsville?

If I remember right, Spirit 95 is licensed non-commercial, so I wouldn't see it going to ... well, really anything but Christian AC.

WBWB and WNOU both cover Martinsville very well in some parts, and they are both clear on car radio's,, but you cant really get them on SAY.. a clock radio... althought wbwb has a better signal in Martinsville than some of the peashooters that try to claim they are in X-City and their signal is barely there. I wouldnt flip WCBK to CHR, its a good community station,, if I wanted to target the outlying area's as well, since WCBK has quite a power house for a Class A... WCBK might make it as an AC or maybe a Rock-CHR,, but not a Rhythmic leaning one like WBWB and WNOU....

Why would Martinsville need another CHR when B97 covers it fine and is a perfectly good station?

UMM think again.. I live in Martinsville.. And most people,,, females and males both under 30-35 listen to WBWB or WNOU or often both,,, some of these peeps also listen to Country or Rock as well. I have heard adds on WBWB for Martisnville Car Lots, WBWB would not advertise here if they didnt think---know people where listening.. I assume that WBWB does better in Martinsville since WNOU reduced power, although they did well before, at least thats what all my friends listen to is mainly WBWB,,, sometimes WNOU as well, but some of these same people also listen to Country or WRZX ROCK in Indy... Who says you cant love more than one style of music...RIGHT????? I love both WNOU and WBWB,, but I wish that Portable radios could receive them better,,, car radios can pick up both stations easily. I still think if WTTS went CHR or Rock,, or a Rock based CHR like the Power 92 days it could put a thorn in WNOU and WBWB,,, not to say that I want those stations to lose, I love them both, I just wish we had a full signal CHR here,, but then again,, some big markets have rimshots that arent as strong as WBWB is here... so my Argument is pretty well useless. I like how WBWB isnt so Cookie cutter, and they play some Dance music once in a while and have a good family friendly and work friendly morning show, and WNOU is very Active on new music and has great Jocks... so both stations are really good.
