HOW WILL CBS MAKE ROOM FOR 2 MORE HOURS ON WEEKENDS FOR 2 SYNDICATED SHOWS

Article states that the FIRST FAMILY and MR. BOX OFFICE have been sold to Tribune, Weigel and
CBS Station Groups for 2 hours of weekend primetime. How can they do it? Here is their schedule
what shows would CBS ax or move? Is the article accurate?

I'm sure the CBS-owned stations running the shows are CW O&Os (The CW has no Saturday night programming). There's no way CBS would bump its own network shows for syndicated sitcoms.

The article states that CBS, Weigel and Tribune-owned stations have picked up the block. You can count on the stations airing the shows in prime time on Saturday nights all being CW or MyNetworkTV affiliates, or independents. If any ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox affiliates have picked up the shows, they won't be running them during prime time.

they might run them once during prime time as make goods
 
The "Crimetime Saturday" hours are just reruns. The time block is considered a throwaway for CBS due to low viewership. So that would be my guess for any CBS stations.
 
In Los Angeles they'll run on either KCAL 9 (CBS owned indie) or KTLA (Tribune owned CW).

That would be my WISH as either show sounds better than Crimetime.
 
In Chicago, I might expect Weigel Broadcasting to air the syndicated programming either on 26.1 or 26.2. I'm not so sure about WGN-TV for weekends, as they like having the primetime timeslot available for sportscasts, instead of farming it out to WCIU.

For South Bend, I believe Weigel's WCWW-LD as the likely choice, with WMYS-LD being second for this programming.

In Milwaukee, the likely choice choice might be WMLW-LD, as it's completely independent. I doubt they'd pre-empt programming on MeTV on WBME 49.1, & they definitely won't pre-empt CBS programming on WDJT 58.1. Weigel doesn't have CW or MNT programming in Milwaukee (Sinclair does).

For the Indianapolis market, I don't know what all airs on the WTTV/WTTK simulcast, but that's the likely choice, as WXIN is Fox.
 
In Hartford/New Haven, Tribune owns the FOX station and operates the CW affiliate under an LMA. Merideth owns the CBS station. My guess here is CW, a.k.a. WCCT-TV channel 20 of Waterbury.
 
The First Family is a sitcom about an African-American family that resides in The White House. It features an all-star cast including Christopher B. Duncan (The Jamie Foxx Show), Kellita Smith (The Bernie Mac Show), Gladys Knight, Jackee Harry (227), John Witherspoon (The Wayans Brothers), Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons, 227), and Michael D. Roberts (Seinfeld).

Mr. Box Office is a sitcom about one of the world’s biggest movie stars, who is sentenced to community service teaching English at an inner-city high school in South Central Los Angeles. It features an all-star cast including Bill Bellamy, Jon Lovitz, Vivica A. Fox, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Rick Fox, Gary Busey, Alex Thomas, Tony T. Roberts, and Tim Meadows.

No way a KC or Orlando Station adds them.
 
Tyler Perry-esque sitcoms, only with an Entertainment Studios budget. That's going to be interesting to see how that turns out.
