How will changes at Cumulus' 93.3 The Bone Dallas affect KIOL?

If the rumors on the Dallas message board about music changes and a new morning show for The Bone, Dallas are actually true, how will this affect the programming on KIOL?

My opinion will shock most of you....walton & johnson should be fired from KIOL immediately. :eek:

Walton and johnson are infamous for bashing radio stations, their parent companies and executives on the air for the most mild perceived slight to their gigantic egos. They are going to go off on Cumulus Houston--maybe blame their lack of success on management idiots again.
Can you imagine how cranky these guys are going to be tomorrow around the coffee pot? :D

I do know for sure that the show insider who posted that w&j would be on in Austin, Shreveport and Memphis by March 07 was more wrong than w&js out of step political rants. :-X

What about that Fant comment to the trades months ago? How did it go again? "Walton & johnson will be so hot in 07 that listeners will need asbestos lined headphones?" :D

Yeah, w&j listeners need asbestos lined headphones because they are more inclined to be people that are cast into the fires of Hell. :D

Maybe Fant will face the heat and have to justify his decisions. :eek:

The show has been cancelled here in Dallas, and maybe in Houston too.

Yes, it's true. Dallas has rejected the w&j show again. They have rejected one sided, ignorant, divisive political commentary as well as belching. Dallas is too big a city to have a show voicetracked or beamed in from Houston. It's an insult and an injustice to the local community.
