How will our local stations handle shutting down analog

Notable headline: GPB statewide shutting off next Tuesday.

The two Media General Channel 3's (WRBL and WSAV) will stay on until June 12th. However, most of Augusta (including WRBL/WSAV sister WJBF) is set to switch over.

WNEG/Toccoa, the now UGA station, will switch next week as well. WATC still is the only ATL station to switch.
 
GPB: Will they or won't they on 2.17.09?

Their website's DTV clock claims all the GPB stations (except for Pelham) are signing off the analog signals next Tuesday. Is this accurate or has the website not been updated?
 
I do not see any applications for GPB's stations to shut down their analog channels and to meet the Feb 17th deadline the FCC said that applications had to filed by Monday to get approved to meet the deadline to turn off on 2/17. The GPB website plainly says that all analog signals will sign off and the new improved digital signals will power up after midnight on 2/18.

13WMAZ Macon's decision

On today's 5 and 6pm news, 13WMAZ President and General Manager Jeff Dudley announced the station's revised transition to digital. The new date is March 17th and the FCC has been notified of the station's intent. The other Macon stations are still on target to switch 2.17.09.
