How will the government shutdown effect the FCC?

How will the government shutdown effect the FCC? Are technical changes, station filings, etc., etc. all on hold? Percentage of staff still on duty is ____? Anyone know?

CDBS has been pulled down, the page for tower information has been pulled down,,,many translator activities are hinged on the LPFM window, which I would say will be pushed back at this point,,you can't file a license to cover because CDBS is down,,,,you can sign an APA but can't file for transfer of control because of no CDBS,,,,,

CDBS being down is really handicapping me and I know many others,,it worked 24/7 before, including weekends,,so why the need to pull it down?

Why do think? Called the "Washington Monument" strategy--antagonize the maximum number of citizens as possible.

At least the WWII vets didn't put up with this--they just tore down the barricades at the WWII monument (which is outdoors and normally open 24/7 anyway).

No APA but my understanding is that you can file and proceed with an LMA. What I am unsure of is… for those that have already turned in their APA (already accepted for filing), does this shutdown affect the time period where the buyer/seller must wait for approval (assuming the FCC reopens sometime soon) or will the deal sail through as though the shutdown never occurred?
