How Would This Be Different...

If WGBH-TV Channel 2 did indeed interrupted programming on Monday April 15, 2013 for the first reports of the Boston Marathon Bombing at 3:00pm? Because since Channel 2 usually airs kids programming at that time, I'm not sure how they would've have done it, Because I know Channel 2 doesn't want to show children scary scenes of that bombing, and maybe even carry the president's remarks of it because that would be way too scary for children to see that happen, now if they were to interrupt programming for breaking news like that, how would have they done it? Would they have to use coverage via PBS, BBC, NECN, 89.7FM, or maybe have Emily Rooney do it? Let me know what you think by replying to it as soon as possible.
