Howard Neimenz

You are right Ape, I AM the boss of my family!!!

Since you are obviously worried about it, he doesn't take the time to participate on boards like this because in his opinion for the few intelligent posters on here who have a valid point, there's a handfull of overnight dorks like yourself that prides yourself on being edgy and proclaiming how you don't care about certain threads. It's nothing to be proud of that you've been fired from some of the best radio stations in America but the more posts I see by you I can understand why. Grow up part timer.

For all the other intelligent posters here, nice to talk to you!

IFB64, radiopig_nc, and TinaB's husband are all right!

One thing I always liked about Howard was his willingness to protect the product! Howard never let sales run roughshod over programming That probably explains why marginal sales people didn't like him!

Howard expects honesty, and hard work. He also expects you to listen to what he says, and apply his advice and instruction to your performance.

He is not real fond of people who try to kiss butt, either.

I'd work for him again in a heartbeat!

been a while since i last visited. i'm familiar with this guy.he had tqr at all time highs, as talker said, founded xra, and is considered by many in the industry, not just here, as a very capable broadcaster. cc should hire him back to rebirth the free falling tqr and put some balls on the buzzard. salespeopl like to make money, be respected for what they do and be taught new things. most salespeople that are or were any good say he was the best in the market at creating revenue. i know entercom tried to hire him when he came back from vegas. whats the deal asu...you like him? don't like him or the info that gets back to you?

By the way, last I heard, Howard was in charge of operations for Continental Broadcasting, based in Clemmons and with stations in Roanoke/Lynchburg, Fredricksburg, and Winchester, VA.

That's CENTENNIAL, not Continental.

 You're not the "Boss" of anything in my opinion! As for being a parttimer/overnighter, I wouldn't bet too much on that! I have bee in radio off and on since 1966..As far as the tag line..It's a Joke..The only station I was ever fired from was my Cousins, and he just told me to go home and he'd send me a check every week..Sounded good to me..
What do you do? Max Meeks assistant on WMFR or are you Eloise.. "Insert Horse Laugh here! hahahahhahaah

Finally, A great idea for a morning radio show......

"The Big Ape & Tina Show"

Of course Tina's husband would have to approve first!, ooops...I forgot, she is the boss ;)

Hey Tina, I bet you are going to like this one....."A woman's place is in the house, not The White House! (Really, I am just teasing!)

Stu

this has been somewhat fascinating to follow Nemenz's formers weigh in on him. seems pretty favorable..this question is for asu...did you find out what you wanted? who is next? I wonder if anyone knows anything about the new guy at cc and why they can't get it right over there...more people demoted/fired recently, more new folks coming in. I wonder if they are required to bring buckets to bale water when they join.

I'm NOT! Woman's Place Barefoot and Pregnant!

That would be the "Tina and Big Ape Show" boys.. No, strike that, it would be the "Tina and LITTLE Ape Show" and I would be the hero who got annoying little Ape his first full time radio gig!!! :D Remember, I am the boss! Now somebody call and wake up Ape. He needs to eat dinner and get up to the station. There's dubs to be done before the shift starts at midnight!!! :p

Tina,

You have a great sense of humor!! ;D
As Lou Grant, from the Mary Tyler Moore Show would say "You've got spunk! ;)

Tina 1
Ape 0 I can no longer keep up with this competiton! So I am out "like a fat kid playing Dodgeball"

Good Luck :D

Stu

Hilarious post Tina B. Haven't seen any replies from Ape. Is he sleeping AGAIN! :-*

Nope, The APE at the moment is in Jacksonville, where he supposed to be!

Tina is still in Winston Looking for "Peaches" for some Donny Osmond and Jackson 5 records!

Thank You all for the replys...this is most rewarding...to those who thought it was a trap...I can assure it was not...Thank you again...

Interesting posts for Howard. I worked with him and Mike Fenley, both are upstanding broadcasters and if you like to work they will even buy your lunch, if you could ever get them at the same company they would make history. If Howard ever wrote a book, I'd buy it. If you really want to know about Howard, call him and buy him lunch, I'd bet he would go, what you see is what you get. Post back to us after lunch and tell us if Howard likes you, that will tell us if you like to work or not. ;D Centennial Broadcasting in clemmons, NC 336-766-2828 from www.centennialbroadcasting.com
