Howard Stern on 87.7 FM

MarcB said:
I was in Forestville today and on my mom's car radio I picked up someone's Sirius Satellite radio feed of the Howard Stern show on 87.7 FM. The signal was the strongest on Poitras Road which is on the Forestville-Plainville-Southington Line. (Off of Redstone Hill Street).
It's happened to me several times in Connecticut and Massachusetts, on a couple of frequencies: 88.3 and 104.9. Those little FM modulators put out a pretty decent signal. A group of low-powered religious broadcasters got the FCC's ear about this issue, and XM will apparently have to re-engineer a couple of its radios as a result. Sirius has issued a statement saying that all of its radios are in full Part 15 compliance, although they certainly seem to be able to interfere with my car radio just as severely as XM's radios do.

those recievers (edit) annoy me so much. one minite I will be Jamin out to 107.3 waaf on my way home/back to school with a good song on I-91 and all of a sudden I will get some Junk for up to a min or two.How are they operating in legul range?speaking of fm lp's you can get 104.5 from long Island pretty good If you got a good antenna in your car from Meriden to as far south as Stamford CT as I stated in an earlyer post.

There's someone operating a sirius at 107.5 in the area near the Arrigoni Bridge, and also someone else near Gene's TV at 89.9 FM (was listening to WQTQ and they faded in and out, not the strongest signal I've seen) and of course, I'm running mine at 99.5, but not as often as I'd like.

when I was in norwalk for class at NCC a receiver interfered with 92.3 near and at the campus cancelling 92.3 out!I knew it was howard stern because of the voice.
