The first hour and a half of the show have been amazing.
"Free Radio" is dying fast.

The consulting losers and program directors of "free radio" should view this as a big wake up call. Get off your asses and program something that is actually interesting.

HOWARD RULES!!!!!!!!

So how many times has he dropped the f-bomb this morning?<P ID="signature">______________

You're right. It was amazing...especially when he opened with the George Carlin 7 deadly words and then the pat o'brien tapes uncensored. Amazing radio...that was done 14 months ago (Carlin) and 8 months ago (O'brien and the song parodies of it) by Opie And Anthony.

Stern is what he is in 2006 - a very well publicized hack.

Not a lot. Maybe twice. He explained that he's not going to make it a point to swear just for the sake of swearing since that gets old fast. Howards right. If anyone subscribes to the show just with the intention of hearing profanity, then obviously they are missing the whole point of the program. Howard is about freedom of speech...... but that does not mean a constant stream of foul language. Howard has a lot more to offer than that. I enjoyed todays show. Definitely better than anything that local Radio has to offer. Very limited amount of commercials is a plus. I think it will 6 an hour during Howards show.

He needs to communicate that philosophy to Artie Lange, who basically did nothing but drop f-bombs in whenever he could this morning.

That will last about a week

Opie and Anthony are on XM.They are similar to Howard Stern in that the channel is explicit.I don't listen to either O&A or Stern.

I LOVE THIS! First we here, for months I might add, "we are going to launch a whole new radio universe"..."something soooooo unique"..."totally free of commercials and no resraints on free speech"... and NOW "we will be running a few commercials during the show"....Sounds to me like the same old lame show we have endured for the past year and a half. I love my Sirius Radio but the Stern appeal was lost a long time ago on free radio. You can't just declare you're the King of all media, you have to perform and I haven't heard it on Stern since Jackie the Jokeman left.
