Howie Carr Alienating The Herald

Yes and no..I was just listening and Howie went to a comm. break at :51. At :56 past (3:56) he took one last caller ("Phil, real quick") which lasted about a minute in total. I'm not sure if that's the case in the 6 pm hr--he may just take off at 6:51.

every hour ends at :51!

I too make sure to CLICK to avoid the the jumping whale.........."just strollin' along"!

Entercom was one of the first to incorporate the "long break" at WEEI back when they were king of the hill.

Everyone was amazed that thye could do well while playing 11 minutes of commercials.....even repeating the same spots.

I guess that's the attitude about Howie's show....smaller stopsets in the beginning of the hour....and pack them all into the end of the hour.
