Howie Carr - Grace Curley Show Schedule Change

It looked like she was in the studio on Monday, but her show was still only 2 hours.
Her show promo now reflects the reduction in hours..."Weekdays from 12 - 2 ..."
On SO many levels that Gambling show is horrible. The financial planner on Sunday early mornings is actually more interesting!
That Adam Kaufman Gambling show is HORRIBLE. WHO listens to it? At 9 except Friday I'll be going over to Dan Rea on WBZ!
She and her producer have young families; if they are able to broadcast remotely at times with modern technology, why not?. Pretty sure Howie has already booked in-studio VIP experiences for 2025, which implies the studio is not being eliminated.

Sounds like the Binnie channels in New Hampshire are carrying Howie live from 3PM to 6PM, and then are airing the 2PM segment starting at 6PM.
On Friday's show, Howie mentioned that he gave up the Newsmax simulcast due to continued frivolous lawsuits (he's still broadcasting from the Newsmax facilities when in Florida). He referenced being served on Christmas Day 2023 and having to pay $100K in legal fees to fight it.

Certainly gets confusing. Down here on the Cape, Howie starts on AM 680 WRKO at 2 pm...Then the FM affiliate 95.1 WXTK still starts him at 3 pm. Are they still taking "live" phone calls and Cheap Bastard deals --now they are an hour difference between live at 2pm and "taped" at 3PM . The AM signal to Cape is spotty most of the time.
The Cheap Bastard deals are AWFUL radio. Pure free ads. Also, Howie's picked up a couple of annoying habits in his dotage. He frequently inhales very loudly through his nose, making it sound like he's doing a line. And he laughs at his own jokes a few seconds after delivering them. He's getting tougher to listen to.
You understand that WRKO is an affiliate as well correct? Howie comes of Satellite distributed by Westwood One. You can set your receiver to air it when its sent or delay it to fit your other satellite delivered shows. When he picked this new 2-6pm window he caused most folks to delay him except for the few carrying him and Grace. And those had to figure out how to fill 6-7pm. It's just not a normal satellite show shift. But probably helps him make the earlybird dinners in FLA.
I think most are carrying him live 3PM-6PM. The Binnie New Hampshire stations are playing the 2 to 3PM hour at 6 to 7PM.

Howie is deliverd by Westwood One Satelite recivers. So you can schedule when yiu want the show either live 2-6pm now or program your reciecver to delay it and stay with 3-7. The thing is all the other satelite shows follow the old schedule so even though Howie's wife wants him to make the early bird specials in Florida the rest of the world dosen't have a new show till 7pm. So amny stayed with the old schedule.
