Hey - are Jay Severin & WBUR focused on Whitey Bulger or are there more important stories to cover?

Of course they aren't selling a pastiche of old Boston Herald columns under the guise of a "new" book.
There would be a class action suit but Carr's fans aren't smart enough to know they've been had.

Here's the really scary thing about Howie's obsession with Whitey (they say one sometimes takes on the characteristics of those one writes about in-depth):

Whitey's gal pal's name is Cathy
Howie dumps wife for a woman named Cathy

Whitey profits from those he knocked off.
Howie knocks off The Dean of Talk Radio and profits!

Whitey cuts up old enemies
Howie cuts up old Herald columns

and the Herald printed that Howie was separated at birth from "little" murderer Eddy O'Brien?
Howie & Whitey, joined at the hip!

Jason Wolfe sues Howie...Howie is silent and talks about his 99 cent book

99 cents? Such a deal. GREAT book. Average review on amazon.com: 4 stars out of 5. Many
rave reviews on there. You can get one from amazon for as low as 3 bucks, yes, but I've
seen some books (like Matt Drudge's tome) that they were selling for one cent.

How is Barnicle's book doing? Oh right, he hasn't written one. But he did think George Carlin's
book was a yuk on every page. He read that book BEFORE he DIDN'T read it.

People do want to talk about whether or not that's Whitey but yeah, he makes no secret that he profits
from his books. Other talk hosts (Savage, Ingraham) do the same.

He spent a couple years and did a lot of research for that book. It was a huge bestseller.

My husband doesn't like me spending hours on the computer so you won't see too many posts from me when I'm home.

I was just kidding about 'is this really Casa' :) Casa and I have both called in to the Jordan Rich Show
when my friend movie critic Frank Ochieng is on--as he will be, along with Garry and Marilyn Armstrong,
for another Movie Night this Sat going into Sunday, mid-3 am.
 
the crime of writing about or talking about hack politicians and mobsters...exposing the truth about
politics in the Hub...entertaining listeners and readers alike.
