Howie Carr uses Rita Cosby to sell book

He was invited to be on the Rita Cosby show last night (1/26) to talk
about the Entwistle murder. Are we supposed to applaud Howie because he didn't
bring up John Entwistle of The Who's untimely death via the coco plant?

Incredibly, Howie Carr turned the fugitive to London aspect of this to...
the subject matter of his forthcoming book. Had Entwistle fled to
Australia you can believe H.C. would've brought up Whitey Bulger.
If Entwistle got on the space shuttle, would Carr have said "he's following
in Whitey's footsteps?"

A local personality was just on a major radio special talking about the
musical genius he has also written about in a major book (you can find it
in your library!). Do you think he pushed the book EVEN THOUGH the topic
was the person written about in the book? NO! Because some people have
class!

Unbelievable - you tune in to Rita Cosby to get information on a Massachusetts
double murder and Howie Carr, the Boston "legend", changes the subject in a shameless attempt to sell a few books.

wow.

Oh he admitted on air that he was hesitant to do the show but thought he
could impress her and be invited back to tout the book. He may be doing
some various TV appearances to promote it.
But I guess he started promoting it early!<P ID="signature">______________

that's probably a great way NOT to get invited back

Howie has no class, never has and never will.

Howie knows how to market things and I'm sure if it were the other way around, Rita wouldn't hesitate to get in a shameless plug, in fact, I doubt anyone would hesitate to get a plug in.

Howie's wasting his time flacking his book on a cable channel fewer and fewer people watch every day.

Rita's still kinda cute, though.............
