Howie's Ratings.....

WMEX is suddenly showing up in the ratings. (I can't remember the last time 1510AM met the minimum standards to even show.)

3-7PM (Holiday ratings)

P25-54:

WMEX - 0.7
WRKO - 1.1

So, (as of this snapshot) WMEX (1510AM) has more than half of the ratings of WRKO "The Talk Station".

Now...will Howie slowly get more listeners....or were these just people curious enough to go through the bother of finding him on an obscure station...and will go away.

Just as a reference point for other stations in that range:

WMJX's Streaming - 0.5

WBZ-FM's Streaming - 0.2

WEZE (over air) - 0.1

Can't remember if 1510 showed up there with Santos prog talk or sports or a combo of the two...there may have been one period where they showed up with half a per cent or something...Some of Howie's listeners may be hearing him on WCRN or WCAP or even WFEA in Manch which started him today. Some may be listening online--Tune In (WMEX,WCRN,WCAP,WNTK) or iHeart (WXTK,WHYN).
WFEA does not stream(...yet).Recorded liners say TalkRadio1370 WFEA. website still says Unforgetable Songs (oldies), no mention of Howie. Don't know if they are full time talk...

I was listening to part of Howie's show earlier up there

>>Are you bank rolling this on your own or do you have financial partners?

No, no. I'm bank rolling it. I mean it's been in the black since day one. We just want it to do even better. … The good thing is we were able to take all of our affiliates with us. We started out with a really good base, and we started with a really good number of advertisers, too. It was never that risky financially. It's just strange to me; it's different. It's different to be on your own.
