How's "BIG RICK" STUART Doing on KFOX?

I miss Big Rick on KFOG. His replacement is the antithesis of Big Rick's style, the guy is way too laid back. Anyway, how is Big Rick doing in his new gig? Is his talent going to waste?

3P-7P, but I noticed KFOX is running sweepers after 7P instead of the voicetracked Laura Steele from Indianapolis and she is off their website.

Really? Can't say I do -- If I didn't know that it was a new DJ, then I'd have no clue -- or maybe all I would have thought is there's something *slightly* different about his voice. Similar style, similar inflections, pleasant enough but equally generic. (I realize Big Rick is a big name, but I did find him extremely generic, albeit harmless, and borderline snooze-inducing.)

His air name is "Rockwell". Seriously. Not clear if he was hired before New PD Dennis Constantine took over, or if he's DC's first hire. (or maybe he *is* Constantine?) And yeah, he's generic, but I then I didn't think much of Webster when he started as a fill-in, and he's grown into the morning-show gig fairly nicely, IMHO.

As to Big Rick's talents being "wasted" -- he seemed (to me) somewhat wasted at KFOG; He was best in his Live-105 heyday, before they made him "shut up and play the music".

I totally agree that Big Rick was at his best at Live-105 back in the '80s. Although he was more restrained on KFOG, it seems he had a little more talk time than he does at KFOX, at least the few times I've heard him on his new station.
