How's Boom Boom?

I hadn't heard about Boom Boom. That is really sad. I hope he can recover. I would say that, more than any other jock, Boom Boom defined Top 40 radio in the Capital District during the 60s. I always wished that I had a chance to work with him, but by the the time I arrived at WPTR in 1976, he was already gone. Get well, Boom Boom. There's a lot of us pulling for you.

You're right! He's our Dick Biondi, our Cousin Brucie, a Top 40 icon! I'm not sure we've ever appreciated him enough or given him his due for what he's meant to local radio. Get well, Boomer.
