How's Joe doing?

I would imagine the problem is no one is listening. Northeast Pa, like so many markets just have too many sports stations. The novelty of having it on FM is gone. There are easily six or seven very audible signals that carry the all sports format in the area. including all the translators. The Mountain was a nice format. It's too bad it had to be replaced by a format that will do far worse than the one it replaced. Yes, I know sports is an easy sell for men 18 to 49, but the question remains...how small can you slice the pie?

Because most of your decision makers at businesses that will spend ad dollars on radio are middle aged men and what type of format do most middle age men listen to is news talk and sports If station is running a lot of PSA spots tells me they have a lackluster sales staff Believe me spots radio is easy to sell in that market no reason why station can not bill out a minimum of 35 grand a month on local alone
