Hows Kiss sounding???

Howdy gang from the land that time forgot... 93.9 kiss fm has been on the air now for at least 4 months... Does it seem to be catching on in the RDU area??? From what I can tell listening to on the web Chris seems to be doing a pretty good job with the music selection... Every time I load it up on the PC my wife really likes it and I hear her say I wish we had something like that here in Rockford... Just from what i hear from my wife it should do pretty well with females 25-54 which is the group my wife falls into... Chris did a heck of a job with Energy 927-5 here in northern IL so I hope he can give you guys the same in RDU... CC1

So far, it sounds good to me; I hope they don't screw it up like they do everything else. I also see that they are mixing in some rhythmic-AC songs in with the soft-rock format WMAG in Greensboro still carries. I would have suggested tweaking WMKS (Greensboro's 105.7 Kiss) with the R-AC format rather than WMAG, but I have found 93.9 Kiss to be a pleasant surprise after a year's worth of screwups in both Raleigh and Greensboro...

Kiss is a good sounding station. I think the mix of upbeat songs from the 80's through today is great. They are moving 101.5 right on down the ladder, If I were "mix", I'd be a little worried.

kiss really sounds good IMHO...I've found a lot of women I know listen to kiss....very upbeat...I still cannot determine if its voicetracked or not though...

You never know what you'll hear next on Kiss 93.9. On Mix 101.5, you'll more than likely hear a Billy Joel song from 1978, then a Hootie and the Blowfish circa 1995, then followed by a Elton John song from 1977. Then, for good measure you'll hear Van Halen's "Jump" from 1984. IMO, Mix needs to add more current songs to their playlist. If I could stomach listening to them for one hour, I'd hedge a bet to say the most current songs you would hear would be 2 at best. But, they'd put me in a deep sleep first though. ;D ::)
