How's the Hot97 HD2 doing?

I can't stream it on the internet, but I have to figure for an HD station the late 80's-90's hip hop mix must be pretty popular in New York. any chances of this format coming to an analog frequency?

With the miniscule amount of HD radios that are out there, it is a huge stretch to say that any of the HD stations are "popular."

yeah but that sample is so biased that to be comparatively popular would mean very much to advertizers.

HD radio...pockets.

I love "Hot 97 Throwbacks" as its called on 97.1 HD2. It was not what I'd imagined at all, before i got the HD Radio. I think its programmed even better than the current Hot 97 (I used to listen to Hot 97 in the 90's till a few years ago, but basically can't stand it anymore)

I had Thought the HD2 station would be something like Clearchannels "Classic Hip Hop" HD2 stations (I think theres one in Ohio, Cleveland???, not sure where)

But nope, it is much more classic. It mixes 90's Hip Hop with some 80's stuff, freestylish here and there, but much more classic than i'd thought. When they say "Where it all began" Theyre not kidding :p

Great station tho. I do tune in alot. As for the HD1, *sigh* All I can say is, listening to the current Hot 97, youd never know you were in New York (except the throwback, and nighttime mix shows), Other than that, might as well be in.....I don't know, South Dakota :p
