I'm not in the market but am interested in how you think they're doing. I know it started a little rough but it's not fair to judge anyone based on the first few days. Now that they've been on the air a month or two is it getting better?

Let's be fair. We will have their first trend in a couple of weeks, at least give them a book or
two before praising or burying the show. It is different and not my cup of tea, but I am not the right
sex or demo.
 
How's it doing? To my ears...they are trying hard. Decent prep and content. Always hard for two white chicks to sound distinctive enough to know who's talking and develop their own personality, but they're working on it.

I would give big credit to Sandusky for trying something. Everyone bitches that there's nothing new - and when something new comes along, everyone rolls their eyes. So let's give them 12-18 months folks...

Sorry, buddy. I'm all for "something new". But I can recognize crap when I hear it. I'm not rolling my eyes because it's something new. I'm rolling my eyes because it sucks. Same thing with that "Too Beautiful To Live" nightmare on KIRO. My listening spiked there for a short (VERY short) time too because I'm a fan of "something new". But I'm not a fan of "something unlistenable."

I agree that Sandusky is trying something new...and cheap. Dont fool yourself, the MOViN staff is more than likely run on a shoe string budget. Ive heard some rumors on pay...whew. But I digress...

Yes, the 1st trend is yet to drop, and you say wait 12-18 months. That is assuming that they get that long. If memory serves me correct the previous 'show' got 6 months, and he was the best out of whatever millions of people applied if I remember the quote correctly. If they get the time, I would love to see a 4 book average.
