How's your memory of STAR 104.7?

Yep I know that goes back many years...

I am wondering what happened with a morning news anchor from those days, she went by the name of Ann Dromeda.. LOL what an appropriate name for a station with the moniker of STAR!

The reason I am wondering is because of a remark she made one day that got me very fired up to the point of writing letters (email) to station management, the Observer and to CL.

There was a news story about a plane crash in the area, where the pilot of I believe an amphibious plane had flown into a low bridge in fog and had killed himself and his passenger.

During some news / jock interaction, that was mentioned and her response to the story was "COOL!"

I was outraged, how the heck is it COOL for two people to be killed in a plane crash?

Anyway, I never got a response from anyone on my emails and I have wondered for a long time if the management even bothered to mention that to her and if anything was done about it, or if she went on to glory with a bigger job and higher pay, while those of us with enough class to not call an incident like that "COOL" wound up leaving the business.

Anyone remember this newscaster and know what happened to her?

I think she actually worked for Metro Networks and was contracted as the news anchor to Star.

'who talks about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye'
