Hubbard buys WNYA, to combine operations with WNYT

Somewhat inevitable move given how Venture is a build-pump-dump company. Can Albany support three local morning shows and three 10:00 newscasts especially with the great unknown (what Sinclair will really do with 6/45; they bought so much they haven't gotten to sort everything out) still in play.

My guess: Some Yankees games move from 51 to 13, possibly some syndication realignment between the two, and some news expansion. If they want to do a 10:00 newscast, I can see this being Ann Hughes' big return to the market if they sweetened the pot by also tossing in co-anchor duties on the 11:00 on 13.

(JDB820) Not sure if WNYT would need another anchor/reporter, they already have 14 of them where CBS6 has 11. I think Ann Hughes would be a good replacement for Liz Bishop who is about 2-1/2 years from early retirement. They could put Ann on as a general assignment reporter for now and eventually elevate her to anchor.
