Huckabee gets facts wrong on Hannity, CC, Bain, Romney

by talk host Mark Levin
http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NmM2ODk4MTFjYjFlMmE3ODA2ZWUzOWYzZDczMDhiNDE

"Mike Huckabee accuses Sean Hannity, who has announced he will vote for Mitt Romney on Tuesday, of being influenced by Bain Capital, which Huckabee says owns Sean's network — Clear Channel."

Levin notes that Hannity is dist. by ABC-Citadel, not Clear Channel (though some CC stations do run Sean). The candidate is trying to link
Romney, Bain, and Clear Channel. Black helicopter alert. (Libs have made the same charge re: Romney/Bain/CC)

There have been previous allegations of heavy favoritism on Fox toward Rudy Giuliani (since he and FNC head Roger Ailes are long-time, very close friends). Hannity is likely more influenced by his (and most fellow conservative talkers) disdain for John McCain, Mike Huckabee and all Democrats. On both cable TV and talk radio, there is no longer much exchange of ideas as there is attempting to influence and manipulate voters (which, a new study released last week, amounts to a grand total of 1% of voters swayed by talk hosts). And, they wonder why their ratings are declining; voters (radio listeners) are sick and tired of heavy-handed hosts like Hannity and Rush pushing THEIR agendas and ignoring most Americans.

"Fair and balanced". Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. :D

At least from their website, I've always gotten the impression that they're supporting Huckabee. They seem to give him more favorable press than the others.

What individual hosts do is their own business, but I think if Hannity's true to form, he'll campaign for (not just talk about, since he is a party hack) whomever gets the Republican nomination. Colmes will back the Democrat no matter if it's Hillary or Obama, while O'Reilly will do what's best for O'Reilly.

The odd man out will probably be Rush, unless Romney makes a comeback and wins the nomination for the GOP. He's a party man to be sure, but he tends to stick to his principles more than the other conservative talkers, most of whom are hacks like Hannity. He could be the one semi-objective observer in the conservative crowd if McCain gets the nomination.
