United Arab Emirates on 1475 and Norway on 1314 kHz being heard in Tacoma, WA. At least a half dozen Europeans making northern AZ. Look for Europeans right now!

Wow!! Here in Hudson Valley of New York. I tuned to 1314, heard nothing at first but hets and chatter, then suddenly at 12:02am heard man talking in what could very well be Norweigan. (I know nothing of Scandanavian languages). Then heard English language music starting at 12:05 EDT: "Longest Time" by Billy Joel and "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles. Does this sound like Norway-1314? Signal quite good at times, especially during the music.

I don't DX AM much any more (X-band occasionally), and haven't tried for Europe in decades. Nice to hear this!!
______________

I'm getting some foregn language on 1521 and some various music and talk on 1288 and nowhere else. I was thinking 1288 could be bleed over but its only on 1288 with some bleed on 1287. On 1521 I am hearing Uncle Kracker - Follow Me which is bleed from 1520.
______________

Yeah, the 1314 in Kvitsoy, Norway plays a lot of English AC music (it could be their exclusive format, not sure). That was definitely it.

Hopefully, this opening will still be happening tonight. I missed the last one and I'd love to get Europe loggings 2 and beyond (the aforementioned 1314 being the only one I've ever caught).
