Hulk Hogan Sex Tape

I'm surprised no one has said anything about this yet, but apparently a sex tape has been leaked showing Hulk Hogan in bed with Heather Clem. Allegedly Bubba was aware of the encounter and even gave his permission. However, the Hulkster didn't know he was being video taped... If nothing else, this should be good for ratings. Right?

TMZ has been all over it the past few days.

Not that I am a regular viewer of *cough* Harvey Levin's Hollyweird circus.

One minor technicality in the recording. at the end of the tape you hear a voice proclaiming riches from selling said tape.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but either 1) the person speaking would have had to have been near a second live mic while the recording took place and then spoke or 2) the voice was dubbed in afterward.

I'd find it a bit hard to believe that , if it IS Bubba, him having been in radio for several decades, be dumb enough to talk into an open mic, and even if he did, not edit it out before leaking it to the website.

I know that in many sordid cases, any publicity is good publicity. This would be taking that to the extreme...Something, aside from the particpants here, is fishy.

The follow-up report is rather interesting also:

On his Tuesday radio show (Oct. 16), Bubba the Love Sponge took time to bash his former friend, a day after Hogan announced he had filed the lawsuit over the sex tape. During the show, Bubba made it very clear that his longtime friendship with Hogan was over, even going so far as to accuse Hulk of releasing the sex tape himself. The radio host said, “I’m going to fight back for my family. This goes right along the lines of his M.O. of ‘I will not take responsibility for what I’ve done.' It’s all denial. ‘It’s not my fault. I’ve been coddled and glad-handed all my life because I’m Hulk Hogan.’ Really?” At one point in the show, Bubba called Hulk a “self-centered” man who is delusional. Bubba said the lawsuit was an attempt to “get me and my ex-wife (Heather Clem) to cover his backside." Bubba didn’t actually deny his part in the sex tape but stated, “I’m gonna be honest with you, I have not seen the tape, including me supposedly bragging and being a horse’s ass.” Clem adds, “At the end of the day, I can’t even comment on the validity. Hulk could have had something to do with the leak of it.” Bubba also spoke about Hulk Hogan having sex with his former wife, reminding Hogan, “Nobody put a gun to your head.”

(I wrote the above for a website that I own and operate, so don't worry about me quoting too much. I've officially given myself permission to reprint it here! Besides, it would be shameless self-promotion if I just posted a link to my site and my own report!)

I smell a publicity stunt and frankly I couldn't care less about any of the players involved.
Yes, these guys don't need to act this way. This has nothing to do with radio.
