On my way to the Coast I was listening, and here are my observations
1) Triad -- Good job.
2) Clear Channel -- Automation.
3) Dowdy -- Ran Nascar today, and basically ignored the storm.

I've been listening to Z-106 mostly today and its barely mentioned except for a prerecorded update from Randy Bell, same as Miss 103. Its not like it used to be in the old days. MPB has some good coverage. And believe it or not the new Real Country 970/850 Brandon/Forrest has had better coverage than some of the "big" stations in Jackson. I'm sure the Jackson stations will have more as the storm gets closer. WWL New Orleans is still the best. I havent heard any coastal stations cranking up the nightime power like they used too either, has anyone heard any?
