HURRICANE COVERAGE

There is a Hurricane hitting Louisiana right now. In previous times like that
one would turn to WWL 820 for coverage of it. Well....this time WWL is carrying RNC coverage instead of informing its people about the Hurricane.
Poor choice if you ask me, but I know, no one asked me.<g>\

9:07 PM (central time) and WWL Radio is taking calls... wall-to-wall Issac coverage. Maybe they joined the network just for the roll call and the election. Many people are without power and LA is definitely a red state.

WWL had on hurricane coverage when I listened moments ago. They are on 870, not 820. Maybe you're listening to WBAP in Dallas.

Uh - its not hitting Houston, but TV and radio here are acting like its the end of the world or something. 20% chance of rain here and a little wind. That's all that matters. traffic coverage of the evacuees adding to I-10 woes. But other than that - non-story, non-issue. Back to local news and coverage. Isaac - is a bust as far as Houston is concerned. Nobody cares.
