Hurricane Irene & Super Bowl XLVI Question

Back In August Of 2011, All of New England including NYC were affected by Hurricane Irene, Then 5 or 6 months later the New England Patriots and the NY Giants were playing in Super Bowl XLVI, I got a question here folks, did those 2 NFL teams had planed on getting into Super Bowl XLVI just after Irene hit? Did they have any connections? And one other thing is that 8 months later Hurricane Sandy came and missed my area (Vermont) but devestates NYC and now as of this writing just minutes ago, BOTH the Patriots nor the Giants will NOT be heading to Super Bowl XLVII. Feel free to comment on any of these as you may, Thanks!

what?

Let me translate. He wants to know if Weather events from 6 months ago are effecting what teams win games today.

LMAO. That's a good one. I'm never forgetting this question.

Well, the Giants and Pats fans are sitting out the Super Bowl so we ought to be right at home when Baltimore play Frisco in New Orleans. And expect one of the Turner cable networks to bring you "No Football, No Problem" this coming weekend.

We were warned to stay away from the brown acid, but apparently some of us didn't. It was better when basic literacy was a priority of our public education system.

Maybe needs a tin foil hat, considering some previous posts?
