Ryan Burchett as 10 does well, different style to delivering the weather, but still to the point. As for Ed Roy, I haven't been a fan of his mainly because I felt he didn't educate himself well in terms of the science, his background going into the TV business was in communications, not weather. It's just that people in Acadiana liked him as a TV personality in the 30 years he's been in the media, I always thought Nelson Robertson did a better job in his career in Lafayette.
Lake Charles -- Don't know much about that market, but I do know Rob Robin was definitely the historical king of TV weather there.
I haven's seen ratings numbers for Lafayette but KATC's newscasts and weathercasts IMHO are more interesting and entertaining than KLFY's. Rob Perillo owns Acadiana and will have viewers wherever he goes. With respect to Nelson Robinson, he is doing weather for the Regent station in group Lafayette and works for Alert Weather Services http://www.alertweather.com. I wouldn't be surprised if he owns the company.
Rob Robin: I grew up watching the guy on KPLC...I will always view him as a true professional. He is currently at KYKZ 96.1 in Lake Charles.
