Ok, place your bets now. Which stations will go off the air? Who's tower is going to fall down? Who will stay live/local with weather updates 24 hours a day? How much sleep will cceng get this weekend?

Will be a non issue. Cat Country will show up at the EMA (they do a great job with storm coverage by the way.), everyone else will record weather. The TV news people will make it look dramatic.

Jim Cantore will probably sit this one out.
 
I did check all of my generators yesterday....eventhough they run automatically for 30 mintues a week....I am ready but I agree, this will be a non-event unless something dramatic happens.

Aw, come on. They cancelled the Destin Seafood Fest and your calling this a non-event? I'm sure some Yankee tourists are fleeing the area already. I'm a little worried that my cable might go out during a football game on Saturday.
 
Us Black Belt residents are getting prepared too. Got me two generators to use, should things get bad and our power does go off. I hope everyone reading will stay safe and protected. Hope we don't get anything bad, in this area of the world, where I call home.
