Husted: Jamie White has another story for her radio show

Why is it that this story is all over the place with emphasis on "Jamie White arrested on a felony" when this don't appear to be any big deal at all?

When you see the headline, you expect Jamie White robs a bank, shoots her boyfriend's dog, or some other horrible act. But according to the story above, it's about an "altercation" with her boyfriend...give Jamie a break already.

Fredrated,

give jamie a break?

a felony assault is a big deal.

altercations (translation; assaults) that result in a felony arrest, usually (and i use that word sarcastically) indicate that they're physical.

273.5. (a) Any person who willfully inflicts upon a person who is his or her spouse, former spouse, cohabitant, former cohabitant, or the mother or father of his or her child, corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition, is guilty of a felony, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not more than one year, or by a fine of up to six thousand dollars ($6,000) or by both that fine and imprisonment.

even if jamie was a FRIEND of mine, i wouldn't cut her a break. from this article, its obvious that this chick is way out of control and doesn't know where "the line" is. she needs some help, and unless she gets it- there's going to be a very dramatic (and entertaining) downward spiral.

her former coworkers will tell you it started a long time ago.

She goes to court this week i believe.

by the way, i bet some people would pay money to see that mugshot.

the worst part of this entire situation is this crazy chick is spending her weekends making out with random dudes and partying instead of getting her shit together for court. smart move jamie, going on the radio, talking about how you were making out with random guys just a couple days before you go to court. like the prosecution won't use that to paint a picture of how out of control you are.

her kid got a bum deal in this whole thing. he has to watch his 40 year old mother act like a 20 year old, slutting it up everywhere and fighting with "snowboarder". great parenting. that kid won't grow up hating women at all.

According to yesterdays laradio.com all felony charges against Jamie White, former KYSR morning host, have been dropped.

Ms. White failed to appear at her scheduled court appearance in Los Angeles yesterday and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It also appears that her charges have been reduced from felony to misdemeanor.

Wow! She really is going nuts! Isn't she?! A bench warrant for her arrest no doubt. Hmmm! If I was making out with random dudes, I wouldn't be bragging about it on-the-air.

I apologize to Radio-Info's staff for complaining on-the-air about my original post being edited. By the e-mail they sent, I thought they deleted it, hence the rant. I see now they just converted it to a link. Wouldn't be the first time I inserted foot into mouth. ;-)

A simple call to the arresting police station revealed that the charges were California Penal Code 273.5. Corporal Punishment of a spouse resulting in traumatic injury. No articles that I have seen mention the charges, I am surprised no reporters dug any deeper to get the facts.

I guess it is only "news" in Denver and L.A. Makes you wonder if anyone is actually listening to her morning zoo...
