Wonderful. I'm sure I'll enjoy it as much as the current one. Say hi to Mr V. Good luck.

HyLitRadio continues to amaze and entertain with familiar Philadelphia favorites - and a surprise once in a while to give the "oh wow" factor. Not long ago on a weekday afternoon I heard "Fresh Air" by Quicksilver Messinger Service - a rare classic rock song rarely heard anywhere, not expected amid the doo wop & soul & pop hits of the playlist - shades of Hyski's Underground! You can tell you're an old time "radio geek" if you not only remember all the old Wibbage jingles on HyLitRadio BUT you also can identify the city for all of the other out of market top 40 jingles they play!

I heard a Good Philly Favorite last night on Hy Lit Radio..."Let's Get Lost On a Country Road" by The Kit Kats....I'll be listening for "Fresh Air" too..Great Song...Just out of curiosity what is going on with "Radio Philly Style.com...I quit listening a while back...They play too much Non-Rock 50's stuff like Les Paul and Mary Ford..Much prefer Hy Lit Radio..It seems to have moved up a few years..Lots of Good Mid 60's-Early 70's stuff plus the Philly Classics..Good Internet Listening for me now is Hy Lit Radio plus Sirius..I love T.J. Lubinsky's Doo-Wop Show on Channel 5-Sirius Gold...Too Bad Hyski Does'nt Voice Track a Shift on Sirius.

am I hearing Hy Lit playing Lily Allen? Is that really what I'm listening to?

Aw... they cut it off after the swearing. And now I'm listening to dead air. For a minute there, Hy, I was impressed.

Oh, Sam, sounds like the computer is playing four or five liners back-to-back-to-back. That sounds alright when you're playing nostalgic WFIL and WIBG liners, but not for "the gentle wave" - sounds like Hy is repeating himself over and over.

Oh whoops, we're back to playing KISS 100 music, after Paul Simon and Lily Allen? What format is this?

We did not cut it off. There were at&t network outages in the central US which caused a domino effect, knocking down our servers. Generally as a rule, we do not interrupt the music, bar none. I do apologize for the intermittent interruptions during this mornings’ Gentle Wave service.

Incidentally, what you were hearing was your own computer replaying the Windows Media buffer content, while it looked for the stream.

Sam Lit on tonight's Radio Racket

Just want to let you all know that Sam is going to be joining us on tonight's Radio Racket at 10:30pm to talk about the new channels at HyLitRadio.com and what's in the cards in the coming months for Hyski's Internet Audio Empire!

See you all tonight at 10pm!

Isn't that the truth? I find myself singing along with all the 'out of town' jingles...and I remember most of them from back in the day! So cool!

To Kyle D- It is 11:30 PM, 7/28/07, and the Gentle Wave is flowing like a symphony. I must say that it is a very nice way to relax.

The Gentle Wave gives another reason to check out hylitradio.com. Keep up the good work to all of those involved at hylitradio.com.

Had no problem getting the Gentle Wave all day Saturday and have it on right now, sounds great
