Brokered programming.

portable protocol digital delivery system application platforms

Walkman.

strategic programming initiatives

Bumperstickers and keychains.

tower relocation pending

You're moving the actual tower?

Nothing will be brokered. I realize it may be tough to get an education in the broadcast sciences as the only thing you can go by is the emulation of the examples you hear. One day it will be different.

Do we really need ANOTHER thread for this station about (generally) the same thing? No offense Sam, I'm just tired of hearing about this stick... I got a chance to listen to it and the audio quality is borderline painful.. the programming WAS painful... I think there's a hype machine here and pretty much everyone that hears this stations is gonna wonder what all the hype is about.. but again, there might be very big plans for this stick, and it could wind up being wonderful, but right now it's pretty bad... I can't image anyone could listen to this thing for more than 10 minutes without wondering what the hell their listening for....

I hear you. You may have to be a little patient. Rick Brancadora just took it over. It's probably going to take a little time to put things in gear. I haven't been down there but I understand coastal broadcasting was/is in total disrepair. The studios need to be rebuilt among many other things. From there a solid format has to be implemented. Like I said I'm not down there so it's probably going to take some time.

I'll try to be a bit more patient and wait to see what's going to happen... It's a safe assumption that someone would not buy the stick and actually make it worse... (not that I paid much attn to it before).

the wibbage sound clips from back in time are great . i'm really glad to hear jim nettleton . but to hear jim , on some kind of an i.s.d.n. link or f x ' d ds0 audio link is horrible - his voice is too good to waste . plus , part of each track is missing - it seems one channel of the two is duplicated onto the other - a monaural effect , so to speak , but with part of the recording missing ... at least that was how it was last monday , april 27th , when i was in broadcast range .
