1) I guess I p****d everybody off.

2) I got a LOT of family in the area, although I've never been there.

3) If I ever visit, does this city have a good AC station with low key and totaly apolitical announcers that programs to women 25-54?

That would be Mix 96.1
In my opinion, Mix 96.1 isn't the best AC Station in Sacramento, It is just the only one left. But it is better than Y-92.5 when they were on the air. KZSQ-92.7 Sonora and KUIC-95.3 Vacaville are much better but not sure if those signals reach Sacramento? They do in Stockton.

I used to work for the Mix. It's basically what you'd hear in the dentist's office and the like. The company and PD were good to work for/with, but far as being a jock, liner city 5-6 years after it first went on the air. Those first years they did have a little more personality and stuff for us to do....and the music now is about as bland as it comes. They do have a nice niche carved out for what they do, and considering the ratings and demo probably bill relatively well

Just like Magic 94.9 in Tampa. Sounds exactly the same. What about Delilah?

Sorry. Delilah used to be on CC's KGBY-92.5 when they were AC but dropped it when they switched to their current format. I know she is on CC's KJSN-102.3 Modesto, which I KNOW can't be received in Sacramento, only because I can hardly pick up that station and I live in Stockton which is closer. I don't know of any other station close to Sacto, that has Delilah.

I just checked out Delilah's website. Nothing even close to Sacramento. Her Northern California's affiliates are in Redding, Modesto, Merced, Fresno, Monterey and San Jose, but none in Sacramento. Sorry.

The few times I heard Delilah, I couldn't stop cringing. Women seem to love it though

When I hear Delilah, I'm reminded of Romeo & Juliet,
Samson & Delilah . . .
'cause when we kiss, ooh, Fire!
(Pointer Sisters, or Bruce Springsteen if you insist.)
