I had a similar problem with McAfee. I had to shut off the Privacy Service in order to listen to any radio station on-line. I also had problems when trying to read some newspaper sites, such as articles in the Philly Daily News.
I can't explain it, but it happens! By the way, a recent McAfee update solved the problem. I no longer have to shut off any of the protection. You may want to contact Norton and explain what is happening so they can correct the problem in an update.
