My name is Dave Parr, I’m retired and living in Columbus Ohio. My radio career began in 1962 at WBUT Butler Pa: I moved to WPAM Pottsville PA and sister station WLSH Lansford Pa, followed by WKVA Lewistown, WRTA Altoona. I left Pa for Ohio and WMNI in Columbus, then WTVN Columbus. They were all AM signals. I spent 31 years in broadcasting then ended with 15 years with advertising agencies doing mostly broadcast production. I miss the radio formats of the mid part of the last century as we all think our moments in a career were the best times in that industry.
