I-93

To be honest this station is no better than many internet stations I hear. Internet stations are getting very good these days. What's sad though is the distinction between terrestrial and Internet radio. Where's the personalities on !-93? The Soul? Is this another lame attempt by the PD/Creator to be a one man show where the spotlight is on HIM.

The imaging is good but i've heard this same delivery style on all the Kiss-Fm stations and 2/3 of chr stations across the USA for the past 10 years.

It is rather unimaginative.

Perhaps the future of radio IS the Internet.

But, honestly, have you heard anything exciting or innovative so far.

Putting "personalities" on FIRST would be different -- people that know the music and have something to say.

Hours of non-stop music when a station starts a new format is old school.

But i dont mind turning to it once my 2 year old gets tired of conservative talk radio.

Well sir I'm not a "KID". Lets just say your idea of radio may differ from my idea of radio or someone who grew up in the 70's & 80's.

Man this instant gratification is killing me. I understand that folk are in business to make money. But no one wants to grow a format anymore.

According to Forbes, the Dallas Cowboys are worth 1.6 Billion dollars. The second most expensive sports franchise in the world. Jerry Jones took a 140 million dollar investment and turned it into 1.6 billion. That did not happen overnight. You have to grow the pie people.

I really like the new format and the fresh new start for the station, 106.1 has needed some good any compaction. in the end it will make both stations better. which is what DFW needs.

Sorry, the station SUCKS! I'm a classic rock person and it was nice to have 93.3 and 92.5 to flip between on my commutes. After listening to the new format (gag!) for a few days, I've removed 93.3 from my saved stations. 97.1 is sometimes a little too hard rock for me but I guess I'll have to deal with just having 92.5 and 97.1 to listen to. Cumulus sure knows how to ruin good radio stations!!!

Now the question is with all this Top 40 overload, what's next? How will the arbitron rate stations if they all are clones? Is this a competition to see which company can have the best Top 40 station or something? Even Hot AC stations are leaning CHR nowadays.

I've got a friend who works at the "Mothership on Maple" and word in the hallway is that i93 has already doubled Fm93-3's women 25-54 ratings.

Now realizing that FM 93-3 had no ratings to speak of, it's not hard to double very little, and they're talking 1 weekly PPM report, but I'm told initial signs are 'encouraging"...

What is the difference between 93 and 106.1? Seriously? Why should i listen to 93 when i can hear the same stuff on kiss? Yesterday, I was with a friend and we were listening to 93 and the dj said Taylor swift is coming up. I said oh! or we can just turn it to kiss and here it now........I turned to kiss and guess what? TAYLOR SWIFT WAS PLAYING!......

What the heck is with radio and repackaging old ideas and calling them NEW?....People are not stupid......

I can guarantee you that 93 is just short term. The new will wear off real fast. Because people will realize its just the same old crap..........

Besides. Why should i change the dial anyway? no matter what format it is. They are all starting to play the same artists. gaga, swift clarkson etc etc.......
