They had "random callers" share their love for 92.3 Now already. Definitely fake. They have not even given out a phone number yet.

At least Pulse 87 uses real calls in their testimonials (my voice is used, so it has to be real)

Agreed. The Fake testimonials were a turn off. I still havent heard a call in number. They did ask people to give a "say what they think" at the new website, but when I went, I saw no place to give any input; just some poll about Elliot Spitzer.

I'll tell you what's a turn off: the fact that they're blatantly ripping off the same "I Am" campaign that WBAB uses!

I was listening to KRock2 the other day, and I heard the same testimonials, except they were done using artist drops, rather than listeners. Kinda sounded hacked together, since not every one of were tagged at the end with "...and I am KRock2".

I thought the recordings were done in the street too, but way too professionally done. If they wanted real listeners, do what Pulse 87 does and put the REAL voices of NYC on the sweeprs.
