I believe WFJS 89.3 Freehold is on the air...

Heard EWTN's satellite fed programming ( a big part of Domestic Church Media's daytime schedule) loud and clear getting onto the turnpike around 8A. Nearly gone at 10 and somewhat listen-able in Woodbridge.

Unless there's another EWTN format on 89.3, I believe this is it.

Darn.

They paid three or five thousand dollars for the CP from the "FM Pregnancy Foundation" (no idea what that means). Not a bad deal!

They're the same company I believe. Domestic Church Media were the same people that brought you the original Catholic Radio 89.3 and the FM Pregnancy Foundation. I thought the ladies of Monmouth County could just sit on their radios and become the next Virgin Mary's....

I can pick the station up fairly decent in Toms River, not clear, but listenable ...

Only when they turn down the treble, and crank up the bass do they like to sit on their radios....

I listened to it yesterday and the coverage was pretty good, programming too much for me, in Central Jersey by Exit 109. Does anyone know where their transmitter is?

it's right off of rt 18 and hwy 34, on the northern edge of the earle weapons station in colts neck.

In my backyard no wonder it comes in so well at home.

I haven't listened to 89.3 in a long while... am I to understand the transmitter has moved from Route 9 in Howell Township? I seems to me it was interfering with my enjoyment of WXPN/88.5 when I drove through that area not long ago.

Ah... my bad. Then that means we have two religious non-comms licensed to Freehold. I wonder what listenership is, really?
