I cannot stand David Stein

I can't believe this crap is still on the air. I'm sure for every nut who likes him there's around 50 other sports radio fans who flip the station. He needs to be on Christian Talk or some various other 3rd tier am yackers. If a Jones media or Salem can successfully distribute his show, then good for him! Just get that damn show off Sporting News Radio!!

DITTOS!!!!!!! New age crapola belongs on a new age station/format, not sport radio! Thank God for Jason Smith(All-Night-ESPN) & Ben Maller/Karen Kay(3rd Shift on FSR)!

The first night he was on (I think as a replacement for Kevin Wheeler) I couldn't believe the crap coming through my radio. He's unlistenable and I've never been back to SNR since. What a loser he is!
Scrap

I only heard him briefly when he was on FSR as a fill in. But, I recall him being quite witty & interesting. Not a hardcore x's & o's guy back then either. Though, his show on SNR is nothing like he sounded back then. It's certainly, a bit much.

the only reason it's own is because the quacks who run SNR are deep south religious types who think that kind of crap is good radio.

I listened to him and tolerated him at FSR, but I really never listened to more than 5 minutes of this "something good in your life" show. I would say there are worse shows/hosts than "The" David Stein.

I think his show is different. I like out of the box thinking.

Wow. Try to do an uplifting, positive sports show and this is what you get for it. You people are something else. If it's not your cup of tea dont listen but your wanting to take the time to bash his show like this is very sad. If you'd actually listen to more than a few minutes of the show you might change your mind. Dave is uplifting, and he is also very funny.

My argument is not that his show doesn't belong on the air...it just doesn't belong on Sporting News Radio.

As for taking to time to bash him...well is this not message board to express opinions on sports radio???

I don't care if you agree with my opinion on the show..to each, their own, but, I don't see how you

can possibly defend it being aired on SNR.

That being said, the show IMO is awful and I would guess most of his listeners (and just about every

caller) all fall somewhere between Joel Osteen superfans and FLDS Compound inhabitants. Or at least it

sounds that way. :-X

Im not a fan of Osteen and im not a mormon, but i do like David Stein because its different. It appears that the management of Sporting News Radio agrees with the premise of the show. If they did not, don't you think he would have been fired a long time ago.

I haven't heard Stein since he was on FSR.

At that time, I found him unlistenable because he tended to use the catch-phrase "Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner!" every five minutes.

It's one thing to have a catch phrase. It's another to say it 20 times an hour.
