I didn't know Liz Medlin was on Channel 13

I saw her today reporting. She was on R-News a few years ago and currently, she co-hosts WDKX radio Wake-Up Club. I must say, when she reports the news on the radio, she tends to stumble over the words, making it real obvious she's reading the script. I like her, but I just had to point that out because I listen to her show every morning.

Yea she has been at Channel 13 for a couple of months now. I have noticed that Channel 13 has made a couple of other additions, like Shawn Carrol.

I remember her on R-News and was never impressed with her reporting. Interesting why Channel 13 would hire her. Yet again remember that you get what you pay for. Let's hope 13 isn't going down the same path as other stations and hiring less-expensive talent just to keep their bottom-line looking good. Either that or the station is attempting to make its EOE look good for the FCC.

I only worked with Liz for a few months before she left, so I didn't get to know her real well, but she was nice from what I saw. From what I hear, she did not care much for Louisville and decided to return to Rochester. But again, just what I heard through the grapevine.
