That's because they fired their PD,Kasey Keating, for the 2nd time.
That was about 3 weeks ago, which is when it changed. Keating was the doing the Image Voice himself, as he does for KSFO. When they dumped him, his voice went
with him. He still does the stuff for KSFO. He make a handsome living being a BIG VOICED ANNOUNCER GUY.

The Star Format is one of those Clear Channel Open the Box and insert format
on your/their radio station things. Same VO guy most likely all over the country. Think of the money you/they save...and Soooo Creative.

Yes I know Criag works there, so does Mike Amatori They do commercials and promos. They do the same for KGO. But, the Image Voice is Kasey Keating. I know because my Boss Jack Swanson hired him. And trust me when I tell you Kasey gets a check once a month like clockwork for the last 10 years. But then so do Craig and Mike... Every 2 weeks. OK?
