WBPT, 106.9 the Eagle, which at one time was and is still one of my favorite radio stations has gone to crap. They are a great classic rock station, but it seems as though they have hired Rose, the made from the Jetsons to program it. Better yet, they have hired Pete and RePete!lol! They play the same stuff over and over and over and over and over again! They have had several warnings from listeners via Facebook that changes need to be made, and they act like we aren't even around! Folks, I just don't know how much longer they're gonna last at that rate. When Rock 99 went off the air, they were all buddy buddy with the listeners to wzrr, now they act like we don't exist! I predict tht by April wbpt will be playing classical music!

WBPT is hands down the best FM signal in Alabama, I drove to Jacksonville last Feb and for 320 miles of that trip I could hear WBPT (from home near the TN line, to Albany GA). It's been my preset 1 in the car ever since the flip from 1069 the point, and I will absolutely agree it has gone down hill, I mostly just drive in silence anymore. Cox never has seemed to put much effort into it, though it did get better for a while after WZRR went away, but that got stale pretty quick too. and I totally expect it from WTAK, with it being clear channel, thats the main reason my preset 1 is 100 miles away to begin with.
