I don't like FOX sports graphics

If XETV Tijuana/San Diego is Fox also, does that occur there too for their analog signal?  These two stations won't be "digital-only" for a while, as they are based in Mexico

XETV no longer carries Fox here in San Diego. They are now the CW affiliate. KSWB, which used to have CW, is the local Fox station.

What do you mean "no"? My point was that most HD compatible sets connected to cable aren't actually getting HD service.

My discussion had nothing to do with programming availability. Read what I wrote again, I think you misunderstood.

"No" to your interpretation of the 65% number I mentioned. Your point and my point are the same :)

Also ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, ESPNEWS are all set in HD 16:9 format, that goes for the SD format as well. TBS is also broadcasting the MLB Postseason in 16:9 format with the letterbox format on SD. And I am sure when the NBA starts if it ever does TNT will broadcast games in 16:9 with letter box format on SD.

Only sports networks still in full screen SD are:
Versus
Golf
MLB Network
NBA TV
NHL Network
(not sure about NFL Network) Time Warner doesn't ofter it

I understand WLNE (ABC) in Providence just started doing HD transmissions, so they might be indifferent to it... ::)

Slightly "The OT" (I still don't care for that name but whatever): Did Fox save money by switching to a standard music ("NFL on FOX") for all its sportscasts? If so, how?

On Dish, ESPNEWS is in full screen SD, but the other ESPN Networks are in letterbox on their SD channels.
