I don't like stations that don't stream

I officially don't like stations who don't stream. They stink!~ Any station that doesn't stream nowadays I'm not going to like them. The stupid royalty fees should have been lowered by now.

I dont think they will be....

THE USA IS THE GREEDIEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD..... Im quite surprised stations are still streaming!!

I have to admit, if the Radio station doesn't stream, I generally don't listen to them in the car either. I get the feeling that stations that don't stream are looking to sell off the station and don't want to make the small investment, or they are totally clueless of the listener market they could be reaching on the Internet.

I'm fairly certain that most musical styles are streamed somewhere on line, and see no need to listen to most corporate station streams as it's easy to get that sort of homogenized programming for free over the air.

I do miss free streaming of pro and major college sports, though. :-[

There's a few stations I wish would get streams:
WYAR-88.3 in Yarmouth, ME - possibly the largest on-air music library in the world
WLSW-103.9, WJPA-95.3, and WKFB-770 - Three metro-Pittsburgh stations with local oldies-collector shows on the weekends

What I think you'll find in the real world however, when it comes down to one's commute to anywhere, people won't give a damn whether a station streams online. Quite frankly, most stations aren't utilizing online streaming abilities to their best benefit anyways.
