I Finally Heard Depetro Today

Caught him just before the 11 AM news, and first few minutes after.
He sounds fine. Tight with his recorded bits. He's dead-on accurate with his comments about the St. Guillen murder. He's not blaming her, but saying that people have a responsibility not to do things that could put them in danger. 'RKO can do far worse in that time slot than this guy.

Mickey,
Your right. Very right.
He has become the talk show of record in Boston.
Fallriveractive.

I thought that was Michael Graham on 969 FM Talk. (ducks)

Dead wrong.

It wasn't some rogue street thug who pounced upon this victim, it was allegedly the bouncer from the bar she had been sitting in. So, John's assertion that being out alone intoxicated at 4AM is "inviting" this makes even less sense.

The term "inviting" is indeed a poor choice of words, if that's what he said. If you read the reports further, St. Guillen was (allegedly) asked to leave the club. Why did the bouncer go from escorting her out the door to killing her? That's the $64 dollar question. But most reports I've seen and heard agree she was intoxicated. That could impair anyone's judgement. Is that to say she deserved to be killed because she decided to have a few drinks? No. But was it the smartest thing, being drunk and out on the town at that hour? Not hardly.
DePetro and RKO are getting a load of publicity from this. You can't buy this kind of publicity.
