I found John Harper!

Although I am not a listener to Star 99.9(WEZN Bridgeport),except for traffic
reports. I did occasionally listen to John Harper, remember he also had that
sunday morning countdown show way back when.Well I was searching the
net for a long lost Connecticut DJ Big Jay Fink of the Boomer Oldies Show,
I use to listen to him saturday mornings on (WLAD Danbury). My search took me to
(97.9 WRIP) Windham,NY. in the northern catskills.John Harper is the afternoon jock
also his bio has the same pic I believe that was on Star's web site.It amazes
me with the talent that these two gentlemen have .They have to find work in
a very small market in upstate NY.But then again you have someone like Steve Roy
Star99.9's new afternoon jock having to go from 106.7 WLTW major market to
a mid market station.

John and Jay also can be heard on my Oldies netstream as well. Jay does afternoons and John is the official imaging voice for The Oldies Revolution.

Well, Albertco at least Harper was able to find a full-time gig which is not easy to do. Better to do full-time on a low-level station than part-time at a top-tier station. That would refer to Stars former mid-day host Kellie Quinn who had the good fortune to land at WLTW, but only works on weekends and occasional fill-ins.
