I give up!

No use for FM radio if you live nearby UTSA off Babcock road and 1604. CHeap analong tuners, clock radios and walkmens get blasted by pirate 101.5 on all FM stations, I can't get crap on my antenna hooked up to my home stereo that has a 25db signal amplifier: I move it in one direction for one station, another goes out, and vice versa. I can't get anything good on the lower end of the dial like 90.1 and 91.7. Jammin doesn't come in and 101.9 gets blasted by pirate 101.5. I've been dealing with this crap for years in this area. Good thing I have my computer hoooked up to my stereo so I can stream KSJL online.

Yeah, its sad that the FCC lets those stations keep going, they still have one out at Gonzales. The FCC cracked down on the XM radios for putting out to much RF and causing interference on commercial radio, and those pirate or illegal Radio stations keep going!

Rather than give up, you should complain to all of the following:

The Spectrum Enforcement Division of the FCC.
http://www.fcc.gov/eb/broadcast/interference.html

The Engineering department of every station that this interference is blocking. Call the station and ask to speak "to an engineer about an interference problem." Make the call near a radio and offer to let the engineer hear the extent of the interference.

The office of your member of Congress. Ciro Rodriguez now represents the area around UTSA.
http://rodriguez.house.gov/
Let the Congressional office know that you've contacted the FCC and that you'd appreciate any help they can provide with getting the FCC to take action.

Do people at the FCC read this stuff here? I always wondered that, if they did, they would know that the 101.3 in Gonzales, kills out KONO and KROX. Looks like that might be a issue for those 2 stations. I listen to KONO or KROX a lot driving through and it always gets knocked out by that 101.3.

I assume that 101.3 is a pirate or a really low power station, because when I look up on radio locator I am not seeing it

It sounds like we got a pirate my freind.
I tried looking up stations. Here is what I found on the FCC website
as far as 101.3 here in texas

I believe your right, it has been going on for a very long time. The funny thing is, it acually puts out better audio than KCTI does.
